Il provvedimento legislativo sul sostegno finanziario alla ferroviaria privata del 1939 consent\u00ec alla Ferrovia retica di procurarsi, dal 1946 in poi, nuovo materiale rotabile. Oltre a quattro locomotive Ge 4\/4 e quindici carrozze a vestibolo centrale arrivarono anche cinque nuovi bagagliai F4\u00fc 4204-4208, consegnati anch\u2019essi dalla SWS come le carrozze.
